Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oleo
1 c. granulated sugar
2 2/3 c. Angel Flake coconut
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream oleo; add sugars.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add flour, salt and soda.
Mix well, then add coconut, nuts and vanilla. Drop by large teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Cookies should be chewy.
These cookies freeze well.
