Lace Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleomargarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. minute oats (Crystal)
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    4 1/2 tsp. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Blend well. Add oats, flour and nuts.
    Mix these all together and drop by scant teaspoon about 2-inches apart on a foiled lined cookie sheet.
    Bake in a preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Watch closely. Let cool on foil and they will flip off making bottoms smooth.
    Mix by hand instead of electric mixer.
    Double this receipt to make 8 dozen.
