Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add banana, eggs and vanilla.
Blend well.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add to mixture and mix thoroughly.
(Add 1/4 cup chopped, toasted walnuts, if desired.)
Turn into greased, sprayed 8 x 4-inch loaf pan and bake until tester inserted in center comes out clean (about 55 minutes).
Remove from pan and cool completely before slicing.
