Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

In
a
bowl,
stir
together
the flours, baking powder, baking soda
and
salt; set aside.
In another bowl, beat sugar and butter.
Add
eggs, one at a time.
Stir in milk and vanilla. Add flour mixture and banana alternately to sugar mixture. Fold in chopped
nuts.
Put
batter
into
a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until set and firm.
