Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 c. miniature chocolate chips
confectioners sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, cream the butter, 1/2 cup confectioners sugar, vanilla and salt until fluffy.
Stir in flour, then nuts and chocolate chips until well blended.
Chill 30 minutes, or until firm enough to handle.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet (slightly flatten top of each cookie using back of spoon dipped in cool water).
Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven until light golden in color, for 10 to 15 minutes.
