Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium bananas
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mash bananas with baking soda in bowl.
Let stand for several minutes.
Combine shortening, sugar and egg in mixer bowl.
Beat until smooth.
Add banana mixture, flour and salt alternately, mixing well after each addition.
Fold in pecans.
Spoon into greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
