Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
nuts (if desired)
Preparation

Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet and bake about 12 to 15 minutes. Take out as edges brown and tops are light brown.
Cool slightly and remove to wire cooling rack.
