Moist Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. cooked, mashed pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 c. pecans or walnuts, ground
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Gradually add sugar, beating well.
Add eggs and mix well.
Stir in pumpkin and water.
Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Add to cream mix. Add in nuts and raisins. Spoon into two well-greased loaf pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.
