Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts (almonds or pecans)
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 lemon
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
-
Mix as batter for cake.
Line pan with waxed paper.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Over hot baked bread, pour juice and remaining rind of one lemon and 1/2 cup sugar which has been cooked and cooled.
