Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Beat egg and add milk and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder.
Chill for 2 hours.
Use plenty of flour and knead dough until easy to handle (not sticky).
Roll out and cut.
Bake 8 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven or until golden brown. Decorate.
