Chew Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1 box brown sugar
    4 eggs
    2 1/4 c. unsifted self-rising flour
    1 c. flake coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Melt margarine and mix in with brown sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Stir in self-rising flour.
    Add flaked coconut, chopped nuts and vanilla flavoring.
    Mix all ingredients together well and pour into 13 x 9 cake pan.
    Cook on 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes or until done, when toothpick in center comes out clean.
    When cool, cut in squares.
