Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. quick oats
1/2 c. wheat flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. oil or margarine
2 c. boiling water
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
4 1/2 c. white flour
Preparation

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Pour the boiling water over mixture and stir.
Let cool to lukewarm temperature.
Dissolve the yeast in the warm water.
Add to lukewarm batter.
Stir in the flour.
If dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
Let rise.
Punch down and let rise again. Place dough into two loaf pans.
Let rise again. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
