Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1/2 c. poppy seed
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
2 large eggs
1 tsp. lemon rind, grated
1 1/3 c. milk
Preparation
-
Mix the first 4 ingredients together.
Beat the last 5 ingredients together.
Combine the two mixtures and stir.
Pour into well-greased and floured pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch or Bundt pan). Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
