Monkey Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. yeast, in 1 c. water
1 c. melted shortening
1 c. boiling water
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
6 c. flour
Preparation

Mix boiling water, melted shortening and sugar in bowl; cool. In another bowl, mix yeast and egg.
Stir flour into first mixture, then add second mixture.
Knead for 10 to 20 minutes, then let rest.
After rising, knead again.
Press out; cut into strips.
Dip each strip into melted butter before placing into a round cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
