Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 lb. butter
1 egg
4 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Have butter and egg at room temperature.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and beat well.
Add flour, one cup at a time. Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet.
Press flat.
