Southern Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, salt and butter and add to boiling water slowly, beating until smooth over heat.
    Remove from heat; add baking powder to eggs and combine with milk.
    Add to cornmeal mixture, stirring well.
    Turn into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan and bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
