Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. corn meal
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add hot water to corn meal, then shortening, sugar and salt. When well mixed, add milk and well beaten eggs.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes in a moderate oven at 375\u00b0.
