Shirley'S Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. bananas (3 large)
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Beat shortening, sugar and eggs.
Add dry ingredients, alternating with mashed bananas and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Makes 1 loaf.
