Filled Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    3 or 4 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Dough is soft.
    Flour board good and roll to less than a 1/4-inch thickness.
    Then cut circles with a cookie cutter or floured glass.
