Indian Fry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c sifted flour
    4 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 c buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift first 3 ingredients together and add buttermilk to make soft dough.
    Turn out onto lightly floured bread board.
    Knead lightly.
    Roll or pat out dough to thickness of 1/4 in.
    Cut into squares of 2 -3 in and slit center of each square.
    Drop into hot oil: brown on both sides.
    Serve hot with honey or taco fixings.
