Ingredients

5 lb. flour
1 doz. eggs
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 lb. butter
4 c. sugar
1 small (5 oz.) can baking powder
Preparation

Combine sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla.
Mix until creamy. Gradually add baking powder and flour, mixing with your hands as you would bread.
All flour may not be required.
Consistency should not be sticky but easy to work.
Roll dough to form ropes and twist to make desired shapes.
Decorate with candy or icing. Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
