Fudge Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 eggs
    4 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Prepare 2 cookie sheets.
    Beat together butter and sugar until light and creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift together the cocoa, flour, soda and salt. Fold into butter mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in the chopped nuts. Chill for 1 hour.
    Drop mixture from a teaspoon onto cookie sheets.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Remove from cookie sheet while still warm; cool on wire rack.
    Makes 3 dozen.
