Golden Upside-Down Snack Bread(Coffee Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c brown sugar, packed
    1/3 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 c. coconut
    1 (29 oz.) can peach or apricot halves, drained
    2 c. biscuit mix
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 egg
    dash of lemon juice
Preparation
    Grease a round 9 x 1 1/2-inch layer pan with shortening or margarine. Sprinkle bottom with brown sugar, almonds and coconut. Arrange fruit on top of sprinkled combination.
    Stir biscuit mix, sour cream, sugar, melted margarine, egg and lemon juice in mixing bowl just until blended.
    Beat well for about 30 seconds. Spread mixture evenly over fruit and bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes; turn out onto serving plate.
    Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
