Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening or oil
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. self-rising flour
    3 or 4 large bananas, mashed
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together as listed.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until tester comes out clean.
    Yield:
    1 large loaf.
