Cherry Surprise Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 lb. candied cherries
Preparation

Cream butter and powdered sugar.
Add flour and vanilla; mix well.
Stir in pecans.
Chill dough for several hours.
Mold dough around cherries, covering completely.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Roll warm balls in powdered sugar; place on rack to cool.
