Chocolate-Tipped Butter Cookies* * * * * - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped

Preparation

Round Steak with Mushroom Gravy is from a sister-in-law.
She was from Michigan, but moved to Iowa in 1949.
Everything else on the menu, except the sorbet, is from that time.
The sorbet came from one of the cookbooks which I have collected through the years.
