Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots, sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    Wesson oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. tomato soup
    1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Cook carrots in salted water until tender; drain.
    Mix together sugar, Wesson oil, vinegar and tomato soup.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add bell pepper and onion.
    Pour mixture over drained carrots and mix.
    Keeps well.
    Serve hot or cold.
