Hershey'S Great American Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz. pkg.)
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Then put the flour, baking soda, salt, chocolate chips and chopped nuts if wanted.
