Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 ripe bananas
8 oz. bag chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugars.
Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Mash up bananas and fold in. Fold in chocolate chips.
Spread in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
