Pecan Dainties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. water
    2 c. pecans, ground or finely chopped in blender
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar until light.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Chill until firm.
    Shape into 3/4-inch balls.
    Top each with pecan half.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
    Roll warm cookies in very fine granulated sugar.
    Yields 6 dozen.
    Store in airtight container.
    Will not ship well.
