Banana Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 oz. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 oz. butter
6 Tbsp. milk
1 egg white
1 oz. sugar
3 Tbsp. rum or brandy
6 ripe bananas, cut lengthwise and then into quarters
oil or fat for frying
icing sugar
flour for dipping bananas
Preparation

First make batter.
Sift flour and salt; stir in beaten egg and melted butter.
Add milk and mix well.
Beat egg white until stiff, then fold into batter.
