Cheesy Zucchini Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 yellow onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 lb. fresh zucchini
    6 oz. grated Longhorn cheese
    1 (10 1/4 oz.) can mushroom soup
Preparation
    Brown meat with onion and garlic powder.
    Drain and set aside. Cut zucchini in 1/4-inch slices (do not peel) and cook for 5 minutes in water.
    Drain.
    In a greased casserole dish, layer in 1/2 of meat, 1/2 of the zucchini and 1/2 of cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Mix soup with 1/4 cup water and pour over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes, uncovered.
