Homemade Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. oats (quick or regular)
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1 stick oleo
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. sorghum molasses
    1/4 c. honey
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    2 Tbsp. yeast
    4 c. fine whole wheat flour
    10 c. hy-gluten flour
Preparation
    Combine
    oats,\tboiling
    water,
    oleo and milk in large bowl. Let
    stand\t20
    minutes for quick oats, nearly one hour for regular.
    Dissolve\tyeast in warm water.
    Add to oats when cool. Add
    other\tingredients
    except
    flour.
    Stir in 4 cups flour and beat
    75
    strokes.\tAdd
    more
    flour until workable dough is obtained.
    Grease
    hand and bowl with lard and knead until springy and
    smooth.
    Let\tset
    in bowl until double in bulk.
    Punch down.
    Let rise again.
    Punch down again.
    Put in well greased pans.
    Let\trise
    again.
    Bake
    at\t350\u00b0
    for 50 minutes or
    until done.
    Makes 5 or 6 loaves.
    You could make 1/2 recipe if you don't want so much.
    But with a large family this doesn't last long.
