Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 medium baking apples (Rome, Pippin, Granny Smith)
    3 Tbsp. chopped nuts
    1 Tbsp. chopped raisins or currants
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    4 to 6 tsp. honey
    margarine
    4 to 6 oz. black cherry soda or apple juice
Preparation
    Wash the apples, but do not peel them.
    Cut off the tops and remove the cores.
    Place close together in an ovenproof casserole dish.
    Combine the nuts, raisins and cinnamon; fill each apple with this mixture.
    Place a teaspoon of honey on top of each filled apple and top with a bit of margarine.
    Pour the juice around the apples in the casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, basting after the first 15 minutes of baking.
