Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 c. butter or shortening
    4 eggs
    6 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugars.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat eggs in a bowl and add to the sugar mixture.
    Mix dry ingredients and add to the mixture with the milk.
    Chill until ready to use.
    Take small chilled balls and mash on a cookie sheet.
    Add nuts, chocolate chips, raisins, anything you want.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Keeps in refrigerator for several weeks.
