Ingredients

1 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. dark or sorghum molasses
1/2 tsp. cloves
6 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
4 eggs
8 oz. sour cream
Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Refrigerate dough until semi-stiff. Drop by teaspoons onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool for 1 minute before removing from pan.
Makes 8 to 10 dozen.
