Zucchini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 zucchini squash
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 bay leaves
    Parmesan cheese
    1 onion
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. basil
Preparation
    Wash, slice thinly, then pare turnips.
    Place them in layers in a baking dish.
    Dredge them lightly with flour.
    Sprinkle with salt, freshly ground pepper and sugar.
    Dot turnips with butter.
    Nearly cover with milk.
    Bake the dish in a hot oven at 400\u00b0 until the turnips are tender (about 1 hour or more).
    The last 15 minutes, add 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.
