Basic White Bread("James Bieard On Bread") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 c. warm milk (100~ to 115~)
    2 Tbsp. sugar, honey or molasses
    1/4 c. melted margarine, butter or oil
    1 Tbsp. salt
    5 to 6 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Add yeast to 1/2 cup warm milk and sugar to proof.
    Put remaining warm milk, margarine and salt in a large bowl.
    Stir in flour, 1 cup at a time, with wooden spoon.
    After 3 cups flour, add proofed yeast.
    Continue stirring flour in until mix is rather firm, about 4 to 5 cups.
    Knead until no longer sticky.
    Put in buttered bowl to rise until double, in warm dry place, about 45 minutes to an hour.
