Ingredients

3 c. granulated sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. margarine (not light)
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. orange extract
5 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cream of tartar
extra granulated sugar for coating (in bowl)
Preparation

Cream butter, margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla, lemon and orange extracts.
Mix together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Refrigerate dough for 1 hour for easier handling.
