Velvet Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. peanut butter
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and peanut butter.
    Gradually add sugar and cream well.
    Add unbeaten egg and extract.
    Sift flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture a little at a time.
    Use cookie press or drop on cookie sheet in small amounts. Do not grease or flour cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Remove from cookie sheet at once.
