1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. powdered sugar (optional)
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and 1/2 cup powdered sugar in a large bowl.
Stir in vanilla and almond extract.
Mix in flour, pecans and salt.
Stir until smooth.
Chill until firm, 1 hour.
