Snowball Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. ground walnuts or pecans
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In mixing bowl, cream butter.
    Add sugar and beat until creamy.
    Blend in vanilla, flour and nuts; chill.
    Shape into 1-inch balls; place on baking sheets.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    While still hot, roll in confectioners sugar. Cool on wire rack, roll again in confectioners sugar.
    Yield: 2 dozen.
