Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
Preparation

Cream the butter and cheese.
Blend in egg yolk and vanilla. Add dry cake mix 1/3 at a time; mix well after each addition.
If using a mixer, add last part of cake mix by hand.
Chill dough 30 minutes.
(Can be chilled overnight.)
Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Finish cookies in one of the following ways:
Use a cookie press to shape cookies on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 6 to 9 minutes until delicately browned.
Cool cookies before removing from baking sheet.
Or, drop by scant teaspoonful on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool before removing from baking sheet.
