Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    4 Tbsp. molasses
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add molasses, followed by egg and dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Roll into balls the size of a walnut. Roll into
    sugar and press down with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
