German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, chopped
    7/8 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 c. Wesson oil
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Alternate in large bowl cabbage and onions.
    Sprinkle sugar over cabbage.
    Boil the remaining ingredients for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour over cabbage and onion mixture.
    Put in refrigerator for 12 hours before serving.
