Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream together the eggs, sugars, shortening and peanut butter until fluffy.
Add flour (sifted), soda, vanilla and salt.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
Place 3 inches apart on slightly greased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork dipped in flour (crisscross).
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
