Apricot Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Drain apricots, reserving syrup. Press apricots through sieve or puree in blender. Add enough reserved syrup to make 1 cup; set aside.
