Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
dash of salt
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Sift together the first 4 ingredients.
Cream shortening; add sugar and cream until light.
Add eggs and beat.
Add dry ingredients, bananas and nuts.
Bake in greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick tests dry.
Makes 1 loaf.
