Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. milk
    3/4 c. self-rising cornmeal
    3 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over cornmeal.
    Add shortening and then milk.
    Add eggs; beat until smooth.
    Bake in small shallow pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
