Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pound cake
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 can peaches
    3 bananas
    1 can mandarin oranges
    2 pkgs. raspberry gelatin
    1 pint Half & Half milk
    1/2 cup regular whole milk
    4 Tbsp. mango-flavored custard powder
    14 Tbsp. sugar
    Trifle bowl
    10 almonds, soaked in water, cut into long pieces
Preparation
    Boil half cup of milk with the half & half milk.
    Add sugar to boiling milk.
    Add custard powder to the milk.
    Cook mixture on low heat until custard forms.
    Let the custard cool down.
